What are the requirements to apply for a dream room? The child must be between the ages of 3-22 years, have a special need and be adaptable to change.

What is the cost for families who are chosen for a dream room makeover? It is completely free to the families.

Where is The StarLight Project located? We are based in Jacksonville/St. Augustine and are currently only designing rooms in those locations.

How long will a family wait before possibly being chosen? The process can be quite a while, up to 2-3 years. It is important to be patient and know they we do our best to accommodate as many children as possible. We do encourage everyone interested to apply.

How many rooms does The StarLight Project do per year? We work on approximately 4 per year. We want the child’s room to be as great and as personalized for them as possible which means a great deal of planning.

Do you only recreate dream bedrooms? No, we will be happy to design playrooms as well.

Do the families have a say in the design process? Yes, the families, teachers and therapists are crucial for the design process. We work to together to make sure the child is getting not only what they want, but what they need.
